Hi Everyone!! I am so excited to be guest posting here at Wait Till Your Father Gets Home today! Thank you so much Meredith for having me! Meredith and I recently became blogging friends. She is one amazing, talented lady!! I love reading about all the new things she is making on her blog! I have learned so much from her.
Before we get started today, I wanted to introduce myself.
I am Jill and my home is at Two Yellow Birds Decor. You will find plenty of crafts, homemade decor, and recipes. I love to make cute decor for my house for cheap. Luckily my husband is my super handy man and helps me out with a lot of the things I do. I love being able to share my crafts with all of you!
***Now, lets get started***
I want to share a really yummy and super easy dessert recipe with you today. It is called
Oreo Striped Delight.
Doesn’t it look Yummy!!
Here’s what you need:
-35 oreo cookies
-6 Tbsp. butter, melted
-1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
-1/4 cup sugar
-2 Tbsp. cold milk
-1 tub (12 oz.) Cool Whip, thawed, divided
-2 pkg. (3.9 oz each) Jell-O Chocolate Instant Pudding
-3-1/4 cups cold milk
Directions:
Process cookies in a food processor until fine crumbs form. Transfer to a medium bowl and mix in butter. Press onto a 9″x13″ dish. Refrigerate for a few minutes until it hardens up a little bit.
While the crust is in the fridge, whisk cream cheese, sugar and 2 Tbsp. milk in a medium bowl until well blended. Stir in 1-1/4 cups Cool Whip and spread over crust. Put back into the fridge.
Beat pudding mixes and 3-1/4 cups milk with whisk for 2 minutes. Pour that over the cream cheese layer. Let stand for 5 minutes or until thickened. Cover that with the remaining Cool Whip. Refrigerate for 4 hours,
I decided it would be cute to crush up the remaining oreo’s just a little bit and sprinkle over the top. This is an optional step!
There you have it! A super easy and delicious dessert! I promise it will be a big hit with everyone, especially if you have kiddos!!
Thanks again Meredith for having me today!! For other cute decorations hop on over to my blog Two Yellow Birds Decor. I’d love to have you!!
Um…this looks DE-LISH!  I’m making this next time I have to bring a dessert to a friends house (or tonight for dinner).  Thanks for sharing Jill!
