Mommy Essential’s Bag

As a busy mom of little ones under the age of three, it is rare that I actually carry a purse when I take them out.  Usually I throw my wallet and a few essential items into the diaper bag and call it a day.  A lot of times those items get lost in the shuffle of diapers, extra clothes, and sippy cups.  I honestly don’t know why I didn’t make this Mommy Essential’s Bag sooner…

Use your Cricut Explore to personalize a cute zipper pouch or bag to hold all of your mommy essential's. It's perfect to throw in the diaper bag! #mommybag #personalizedbag #CricutExplore

It was SO simple to make and honestly my new favorite thing!

You’ll need:

Cricut Explore™

Lightweight Cutting Mat

Cricut Iron-On Vinyl {black glitter}

cute zipper pouch

I used Cricut Design Space™ to choose a super cute font and heart image to write my name.  The font is “simply sweet” and the image of the heart is from the simply sweet image set.

Once I got the font sized the way I wanted it to be, I made sure to click the box to mirror the entire image since I’d be using iron-on vinyl.

After it’s cut, it should look something like this.

I then followed the package instructions for ironing and adhered my name to the pouch.

AHHH!  I’m in love.  It’s the perfect size for a small wallet, some fun colorful pens {for my life planner that travels EVERYWHERE with me}, some hair ties, and a small notebook.

It would also be perfect for some mints or gum, lip gloss, chapstick.  You know, anything and everything a busy mom needs {for herself} on the go!!
