Halloween Grapevine Wreath

October 7, 2013 By meredith Leave a Comment

My crafting and seasonal-decor-creating time has taken a big hit lately.  I just can’t seem to find the time to get everything that I’d like to do done in a day {or two or three or four}.  In an effort to simplify, save on time, and still make the house feel a little more “Halloween-y”, I whipped up this super quick Halloween Grapevine Wreath in about 5 minutes yesterday.

You know I love my grapevine wreath as evidenced by wreaths of seasons past like this one and this one.

I love my grapevine wreath so much in fact, that I’ve bought a second one.  I discovered that I like the look of a wreath on our pantry door in the kitchen as well, so last time I was at the craft store I splurged a whole $5 for another.  All I had to do was take out the four floral stems I had in it from September {think sunflowers} and add these new Halloween ones.

I also got a little crazy and added an orange burlap bow.  So, slowly but surely the house is looking a bit more seasonal.  I’ll probably feel that it’s complete the day before Halloween, just in time to de-Halloween the house and make it feel more “Thanksgiving-y”.

Don’t you just love all the made up words in this post?!

How do you add seasonal decor when time is valuable?  I’d love to hear your ideas!
