January 11, 2013 By meredith 11 Comments

I've got a great, no hassle meal for you to cook tonight {or one night this week}.  I bet you already have a lot of the ingredients, and I'm sure you own a crockpot.  The rest is easy peasy and very yummy! I was inspired by this recipe I found on Six Sisters' Stuff, but as usual tweaked it a bit to fit my family's likes. November 7, 2012 By meredith 18 Comments

When there gets to be a chill in the air, it definitely puts me in the mood for one of two types of meals....some kind of a delicious soup that's been cooking in the crock pot all day or a nice "comfort food" kind of recipe.  Usually when I make a "comfort food" I whip out my mom's old recipe book to find something fantastic that my grandmother had passed down to her and that I remember enjoying … [Read more...]

Skillet Potatoes 1 1/2 T bacon fat or olive oil 3-4 red skin potatoes 1/2 cup onion, chopped 1/2 … [Read more...]

I've got a super simple, very refreshing, and totally delicious recipe for you to try one night this week!  It's so simple that I now know it by heart.
