Easy Monogram Christmas Bulbs

November 19, 2014 By meredith Leave a Comment

This post contains some affiliate links.  I am a member of the Cricut Blogger Network. I may receive prizes in exchange for my winning projects. Even though I am not being directly compensated for these posts, I am under consideration for a prize with Cricut Design Space Star. All opinions are 100% my own.

Yesterday I shared my Easy Snowman Christmas Bulbs.  Today I’ve got another easy one for you…this time using every southern girl’s favorite thing…the monogram.  Seriously y’all.  People monogram everything down here.

To make your own, you’ll need:

black vinyl
red vinyl {found at Expressions Vinyl}
white Christmas bulbs
red & white polka dot ribbon
Cricut Explore™

In Cricut Design Space, I found two fonts that I liked, {extreme fonts for the initial and miss smarty pants for the names}.  I cut the initials out in black vinyl and the names in red vinyl.  For this ornament I did use some transfer tape for the names on each bulb after applying the black initials like a sticker.  I wanted to ensure that the names were on straight.  I then tied some red and white polka dot ribbon to the top for added cuteness.

These would make fantastic gifts for neighbors, relatives, kids, …you name it!

 Be sure to take advantage of these awesome offers from Cricut for the crafter on your list this Christmas!
