If there is one thing that I feel like I do a good job of keeping up with in my house, it’s vacuuming.  Up until BISSELL so generously sent me a Clean View Plus Vacuum to review, I thought that the vacuum we had was getting the job done.  Well, it wasn’t.  Not even close.

Let’s start at the beginning though.  The vacuum, which is now available at most major retailers has an MSRP of $99.99, arrived on my doorstep while I was still in the hospital delivering our sweet, second baby boy.  Is it weird that I was super excited to have a new vacuum and a new baby all in the same day?!

It’s definitely a lightweight vacuum, but since I had just delivered a baby and vacuuming was on the list of no-no’s from my doctor, my loving husband assembled it for us and then put it to the ultimate test.

Assembly was easy and might have taken all of 10 minutes.  Once it was put together, and both boys were napping, we decided to vacuum the only carpeted room downstairs, our master bedroom.  Typically this room gets vacuumed every other day as it gets lots of traffic from not only us, but also our two dogs.

We could tell immediately that our old vacuum was simply not getting the job done.  I’m honestly a bit embarrassed to even share this picture, but after only a few minutes, this is what we were left with {from ONE room}…

It’s safe to say that BISSELL has completely changed my mind about my old vacuum.  We are most definitely now a BISSELL Clean View  Deluxe household.
