Our Everyday Normal

June 30, 2016 By meredith Leave a Comment

This post was sponsored by P&G as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central. I received complimentary products to facilitate my review. #PGDetailsMatter #IC #ad

I’ve been a stay at home mom since July of 2011.  That’s when our first born came crashing into the world, a couple of weeks early, similar to how he wakes up each day…EARLY!  I think back to my life before kids, and no joke…it is a blur.  What did I do all day?!  I wasn’t watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse or Daniel Tiger (I’m sure I’m all caught up with past seasons though).  I didn’t make peanut butter and honey sandwiches every.single.day.  I didn’t own movie and cartoon themed band-aids.  I didn’t have a toy horse and cow on the floor of my shower.  Seriously…how did I stay entertained?!

I also didn’t go through nearly as much paper towels, milk (OHHHH, the milk y’all!), laundry detergent, liquid dish soap, toothpaste, etc…  When it was just my husband and myself, I think we ran the dish washer once, maybe twice, a week.  It is a daily occurrence now.  And I know I have never, in my life, purchased (and poured) this much milk.

Never did I ever think I’d use a Costco membership like I do these days.  I guess since I have three kids, I expected it would become a necessity one day, but certainly not at the ages of 4, 2, and 1!  It has most definitely become a part of my monthly shopping routine, and I’m so grateful that they have all of my favorite P&G Household products available in store.  When I’m there, I always stock up, and during this month’s trip it happened to be Bounty Advanced Paper Towels, Cascade Complete ActionPacs, and Dawn Platinum Advanced Power liquid dish soap.  The little details in these P&G Household Needs from Costco products make all the difference in our home.  They certainly do not skimp on effectiveness of cleaning and the quality of the product.  I have always been able to rely on P&G from Costco to take care of my household needs.

I love that with Dawn, it delivers the power of an overnight soak in SECONDS and fights that tough-stuck on food from dinner (or if we’re being honest, breakfast).  Or if I’m in a hurry, I can skip the hand-washing and stick all those dirty dishes right into my dishwasher.  No pre-rinsing required with Cascade Complete ActionPacs! It’s got the power of my other favorite dish washing product, Dawn, and has completely eliminated pre-washing in this house! If I do choose to hand wash my dinner dishes, I can even rely on Bounty Advanced Paper Towels to help dry them.  They are Bounty’s most absorbent paper towel vs. National Bounty Select-A-Size Towels and are even strong when wet vs. National Bounty Original. With these three products as part of my after dinner cleanup strategy, I’m able to get back to what matters most a lot sooner.

Speaking of what matters most.  Let me show you where I keep my Cascade Complete Action Pacs and Dawn Platinum products.  Nope, not under my sink.  They (along with all other household cleaners used on the first floor) are in the highest cabinet in my kitchen, so my little ones don’t get into any of it.  This was actually a cabinet that we didn’t even use, and I’m so glad I got this new mommy advice a few years ago from a good friend.  I never have to worry that my kids are going to get into anything they shouldn’t in the kitchen.
