Easy Kid-Made Pom Pom Ornaments

December 22, 2014 By meredith Leave a Comment

I know we’re inching closer and closer to Christmas, but I couldn’t let it pass us by without sharing this easy and oh-so-adorable Kid Made Pom Pom Ornament with all of you!

And, let me tell you, your little ones will LOVE making them!
To get started you’ll need:
pom poms in Christmas colors
plastic bulb ornaments
Christmas ribbon
white vinyl
Cricut Explore

I had all of the materials out for my little guys to get busy with after their naps one day.  It just so happened that little brother woke up first and got lots of one on one time making his ornament.  He must have stuffed and dumped out those pom poms at least 10 times.  He loved it!

While he kept himself occupied with the pom poms, I found a cute font on my Cricut Explore and cut out the boys’ names and the year.  Once they were done putting all the poms into their ornaments, I added their names like I would stickers, put the top back on, added a ribbon bow and an ornament hook, and voila!…instant, adorable keepsake!

You could easily make a bunch of these for Christmas gifts for friends, families, or neighbors too!!

Merry Christmas everyone and happy crafting!!  I’ll be back in 2015 with lots of amazing ideas and projects to share!
