Lunch Ideas for Little Ones

July 21, 2014 By meredith 8 Comments

This shop is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign withPollinate Media Group™ and Wet-Nap but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #showusyourmess  http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV

My little guys aren’t exactly old enough to be heading “back to school” in the Fall, but we definitely have a busy schedule full of play dates, MOPS meetings, and library storytimes that will keep us on the go most days.  One way that I get more accomplished on those busy days is to pack a lunch for all of us.  And you can bet that with a three and a one year old, lunch on the go also means mess on the go!  Luckily, I can be easily prepared thanks to Walmart’s everyday low price on Wet-Nap Packets.

And to make the deal even sweeter, there is currently a great coupon for $.55 cents off any Wet-Nap product, while supplies last.  You can easily find them in the napkin aisle of most Walmart stores.

When I pack our on the go lunches, I love to use a Bento Style box that I found at the beginning of the Summer.  It’s the best for keeping foods separate and contained.  Plus, my boys seem to like eating better from all the fun little containers.

And, extra bonus…the Wet-Nap Packets fit perfectly in the long, skinny boxes!  LOVE this!  Plus, Wet-Nap Packets are stronger and softer than ever before and also moisturize with aloe.  Cleaning little faces and hands has never been easier.

So, what do I typically include in our lunches?  I’ll break it down…

I pre-wash and cut all fruits and veggies, so they’re easy and ready for little hands.  They’ve never really been sandwich eaters, but for some reason you make a simple meat and cheese roll up with a soft tortilla, and they love it.  On this particular day, I grabbed a few slices of roast chicken, some smoked white cheddar cheese, rolled it in the tortilla, and cut it into a few pieces.  Voila!  Instant roll up!

With full bellies {and thankfully} clean hands and faces, we are ready to tackle our days on the go together!

Great idea to include the wipes. Marley is 12 but is still messy when she eats – LOL! Might have to pack these in her middle school lunches! (She’d probably die of embarassment – HAHA!)

She might, but at least she’d have clean hands 🙂
