Monster Eye Bubbles

March 17, 2014 By meredith 14 Comments

I’m super excited to be a part of my friend Amber’s Big Birthday Bash this week by sharing a simply party favor idea for a monster themed party.  This favor will just so happen to be used for the kiddos that attend my second child’s first birthday party in a few short months {where has the time gone?!}.  You see, around the time he was born, Disney Junior released a new show, Henry Hugglemonster.  Well, baby boy’s name is Henry and big brother {and honestly my husband and I also} started lovingly calling him “Henry Monster”.  So, it has stuck, and it will be part of his little first birthday theme.

These might be the easiest little party favors to make…ever!

To make some for your next birthday bash, you’ll need:

bubble bottles {think dollar store or Target Dollar Spot}

googly eyes, all sizes

black Sharpie

hot glue/glue gun

washi tape

I decided to mismatch the lids to the bottles, just to make them more colorful.

Now, all you’ve got to do is hot glue a googly eye, or two or three, to the top of each lid, add a fun mouth or nose, and you’ve got instant monster bubbles!

To make them even more fun, I wrapped each bottle with some coordinating washi tape as well.

So, one thing checked off my June birthday party to-do list, about 50 more things to go!  No big deal, right?!

For more birthday party fun, check out Crazy Little Projects today {and all week for that matter} for some awesome and inspirational ideas.
