{Notice Natural Beauty with Seventh Generation}

March 19, 2013 By meredith 9 Comments

You hear the term “natural beauty” a lot these days, but what is it, really?

Do you connect the phrase with nature?  Does it mean not wearing make up {or much differently not needing to wear make up}?  Does it mean eating, consuming, and using only organic products?

To me, natural beauty is living a life with a happy heart that shines through your exterior.

It’s exuding a confidence in your own skin, whatever skin you’ve been given, and embracing everything that is YOU.

I know it’s sometimes difficult to embrace that mantra, especially when you’re nearing the end of a pregnancy, but in all honesty the times in my life that I have felt most in tune with natural beauty in myself is when I’ve been pregnant.

natural beauty

Pregnancy brings out a glow in women that cannot be seen any other time.

Being pregnant helps me slow down {yes physically} but also mentally.  I notice that I appreciate little things that occur each day, either to myself, my family, or just the world around me.

Since having a child and becoming pregnant again with our second, I’ve made a conscious effort to simplify and clean our lifestyle.  I’ve started to use the Seventh Generation line of cleaning products regularly as they have no harsh or harmful chemicals poisoning my home and my family.  I’ve also began using the Seventh Generation beauty line as part of my daily skin care regimen.

Notice Natural Beauty

In just about every bathroom in our house, I’ve now got a Seventh Generation Hand Wash, ready to use.  The scents they have are amazing.  My favorite is most definitely the Mandarin.

And, the peppermint bar soap is a definite pick-me-up on those early mornings that I wake up with my toddler.

I honestly cannot recommend these products enough!

    It sounds so nice. I really want to try it. I love that it has natural scents and they sound like scents I would really enjoy. I’m picky about all those perfume smells and many of them bother my skin anyway.
