Hi, Meredith’s friends and followers!  I’m Amy, aka One Artsy Mama, and I’m thrilled to be here today to share a little about myself and my blog!

As for me, I wear a lot of different hats.  First, I’m a wife and mama who loves spending time with my family.

I’m also an artist who’s happiest when I’m creating something, whether it’s jewelry, a painting, a handmade card or scrapbook, a digital design, or an upcycled furniture project.  I sell some of my creations in the One Artsy Mama Etsy shop, but most of them are for myself or my family and friends.

I’m a musician who loves to sing as part of our church’s band and also loves to play the piano {but only if no one is listening}!

I’m a professional ballroom dancer, {yes, really} which means I get to do fun performances as well as share the joy of dance with others as I teach them the basic steps.

…and, last but not least, I’m a blogger.  I started One Artsy Mama in March of 2011 in the hopes of sharing and gaining lots of creative inspiration.  It’s a place where I share projects I’ve made with and for my Little Crafter, as well as “big girl” craft projects, home decor, and pretty much anything else I create.  From time to time, I feature product reviews and giveaways, and I also have a Growing Your Blog Series designed to help out newer bloggers.  Once a year {in the spring}, I host One Crafty Contest…this year’s submissions were beyond amazing!!

My name is Jill. I am a Mom to 2 Amazing kids-a girl and boy, a wife of 5 years & counting to my Awesome Handy Hubby. I am a lover of sunshine, chocolate, reality tv, organization and lists. I have been blogging for a year now and love creating new things cheap. I love making my own home decor to give it the personal touch!
