I’ve posted quite a few projects in the past couple of months and thought I’d give you some updates!
A new month, a new calendar for my homemade calendar frame…
I make sure to replace the calendar each month and usually switch out the scrapbook paper background. It takes maybe one minute total for this quick update! I love that it always gives my desk area a fresh feeling.
Which brings me to the kitchen desk area. After my kitchen desk organization, I’m happy to report that 99% of the time, my desk area still looks like this…
There have been some occasions when I have left a pile or two on top, but in all honesty I’ve done a really good job of keeping it clear and clean! I will admit that I do need to go back and organize a drawer or two though (hey, I’m not perfect)!
The garden is doing fabulous! I’m feeling really good about what I’m seeing. If you’ll remember, here is the garden before…
And here are some close ups of the growth so far…
Hopefully our second garden bed will be ready soon, and I’ll be able to thin some of the plants and transplant them. I also need to get some tomato cages and come up with a cute (and practical) way to label the plants. I cannot wait to start picking fresh vegetables for our meals!
That’s all for the updates (so far). I’m starting to think about my little guy’s first birthday (less than two months away now). Be prepared for several birthday/4th of July/baseball themed related projects! I’ve been going crazy on Pinterest to prepare!
Also, don’t forget to head over to Happy Hour Projects starting today for Adrianne’s Mother’s Day tutorial series! I’ll be guest posting for her tomorrow with a super simple piece of jewelry that any mom would LOVE!
I’m linking up with these great parties!
Please leave a comment, I love to hear from my readers!

Hi there! It’s so nice to meet you. You’ve created a lovely blog; you should be really proud of it. And these projects that you’re highlight here show that you’ve been really busy at home. I am especially impressed with your clean desk. Oh, my goodness–organization is my downfall. My husband would think he was in heaven if my desktop (or the kitchen counter!) looked like that. I’m going to read that post and see if I can glean some help for my organizational challenges. 🙂
