Fun in the Sun with SwimWays | Baby Spring Float

June 13, 2016 By meredith Leave a Comment

This post was sponsored by SwimWays as part of an Ambassador Program for Influence Central. I received products to facilitate my review.

For a child, learning to swim can be an intimidating and confusing process. Little ones need baby-steps when going from land roamer to pool dweller, and as parents, learning about the right techniques and products eases this sometimes challenging transition.  A neighbor introduced me to the SwimWays line of products back in the summer of 2011 when my oldest was born.  We immediately purchased a Baby Spring Float and haven’t strayed form the SwimWays line of products since then.

We have a pool in our subdivision, and once summer hits, I’m down there pretty much daily with my kids.  I won’t lie, when it was only my first born and I, it was a lot easier to get to the pool.  With three kiddos, I’ve got a pool bag full of towels, toys, and sunblock, a cooler with juice, water, fresh fruit, and other yummy snacks, and some sort of SwimWays product per child!  Luckily they’re big enough that they can help me tote everything to the pool.  AND, I love that the Baby Spring float is designed for easy portability, and includes an adjustable and removable UPF 50+ sun canopy.

I’m always a bit nervous the first time I take the kids to the pool in the summer, especially with my youngest.  I wasn’t sure if she’d remember her experience last year in the pool since she was so little.  Luckily, the water wasn’t crazy cold and she was already a fan of her Baby Spring Float because she had seen me blow it up the week before and was eager to try it out.  Let’s just say, she loved it and the pool and the whole day!

I know we’ll continue using the Baby Spring Float all summer long to keep her safe and comfortable in the water.  I love that she enjoys being in the water, and I know a huge part of that joy is because she loves that float so much!

 We’re a SwimWays family because…

  • SwimWays has been teaching children to swim for over 40 years.
  • Their Swim Steps program offers products for all skill levels, making it easy for you to share my love of the water and build confidence in my children.
  • The SwimWays Baby Spring Float supports children as they are introduced into the water for the first time.  I’ve used it with all three of my kids now without a hitch.  They feel secure, and so do I!

The Baby Spring Float is available online and in-store now through Toys “R” Us.
The Swimways Baby Spring Float features a soft mesh seat and a fabric covering to ensure comfort, and a low center of gravity that allows babies to play with added security and stability.  Also, for some awesome tips on teaching your child how to swim, stay safe in the water, and enjoy themselves this summer in the pool, visit the Teach Me to Swim Website!

Now, I don’t know about you, but it’s HOT, and we’re itching to get to the pool.  Have a happy and safe summer in the pool, friends!
