Get Those Box Tops to School

September 4, 2015 By meredith Leave a Comment

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of General Mills®. The opinions and text are all mine.

So, you’ve purchased General Mills products for school lunches and after school snacks. You’ve carefully cut out all of the awesome Box Tops and Bonus Box Tops to send into your child’s teacher. And, everyday, your child forgets to take them in to school. Am I right?!

Well, I’ve got an easy and yummy solution for you, guaranteed to help your little one remember those valuable Box Tops for Education.

To make these super cute snack bags, you need the General Mills cereals of your choice, a zip closure snack bag, a decorated clothespin, and the Box Tops you’ve cut out to send into your child’s teacher.

To get the two different cereals into the bags, I put gathered the zip closure snack bag in the center with one hand and scooped the cereal into each side of the bag with the other. I used one big handful for each side, secured the bag closed at the zip closure, and clipped it down the center with the decorated clothespin.

Now, all you have to do is clip those Box Tops off the General Mills products, and pin them into the clothespin on your child’s snack bag. Snacks for your kids, money for your teachers and your school…it’s a win-win!

And remember, Walmart currently has select General Mills products with Bonus Box Tops! Look for the specially marked packaging while you shop.

We bought three General Mills products on this trip and ended up with fifteen total Box Tops to send to school!
