DIY Beaded Garland

December 2, 2013 By meredith 1 Comment

I’ve got an easy peasy Christmas craft for you all today.  I love to make my own garland, especially if I can do it for less than $2.00!

To make the garland, you’ll need:

a needle and thread

vase filler beads {I found red and white last June on clearance for $.35 a bag!!}

Conveniently, these particular beads had holes in them!  How perfect is that!?

Now if your vase filler beads don’t have a hole, I recommend getting the foam kind and poking the needle through yourself, like Jill did at Create.Craft.Love last year.

Not much to explain here, simply string your beads in the desired pattern you’d like.  I have multiple sizes but only red and white, so the only “rule” I had was that it had to alternate in color.

Soon I had a beautiful beaded garland to add a pop of color to my green garland over my mantel.  I just love it and it cost less than $2!

Merry Christmas!
