{Simple Birthday Centerpieces}

August 5, 2013 By meredith 8 Comments

To continue with my latest posting trend of all things birthday party, I wanted to share a super simple centerpiece idea.

{I’ve also got a HUGE giveaway at the end of this post, so make sure to check that out!  An Amazon gift card, Ribbon Retreat, and Cut It Out Frames are up for grabs!}

centerpieces

You can make one or make a bunch, depending on your decor needs and all you need are some glass jars, M&M’s, birthday number candles, and curling ribbon.

supplies

Wash and dry your glass jars before starting.  That way, when the party is over, you can eat the M&M’s {you’re welcome for the reminder}.

Easy peasy to assemble…

1.  Place the number candle in the jar, flush with one side.

2. Fill the jar to the top with M&M’s.  Adjust the candle as needed if a few stray M&M’s make their way in front of the number.

3.  Close the lid {if your jar has one} and tie curling ribbon to the top.

4.  Curl the ribbon with scissors, and voila!  Instant birthday party centerpieces!

I’ve got plenty of spare “2” candles if anyone needs one! 🙂

Happy party planning!
