{Frozen Yogurt BOMB Pops}

June 19, 2013 By meredith Leave a Comment

Hello everyone! I’m Kelly and I blog at Here Comes the Sun. I’m so excited to be here helping Meredith out while she devotes time to her new little bundle of joy!  I’ve got a homemade sweet treat for you all today!
Here Comes the Sun: Frozen Yogurt Bomb Pops
My all time favorite treat from the ice cream truck was the Bomb Pop. Three layers of red, white and blue delicious goodness. It was *almost* too much to eat before all that goodness melted onto my hands and chin. I have created my own version of this sweet treat… Frozen Yogurt Bomb Pops. Healthy AND delicious! This is seriously a mom’s best friend on those hot summer days.

The red layer is strawberries and vanilla yogurt, blended. The white layer is vanilla yogurt and the blue layer is blueberry Greek yogurt with a few drops of blue food coloring. Place in a popsicle mold and freeze. How easy is that? Let the red layer set up a bit and then insert the popsicle stick. Then layer the white layer and let that set and then layer the blue.
