{sweeten your summer with nectresse}

August 15, 2012 By meredith Leave a Comment

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of NECTRESSE™Sweetener for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I have a huge sweet tooth.  I love baking cookies, cakes, cupcakes…you name it!  I also realize that sugar is definitely not the best thing in the world for you.  Limiting your sugar intake is a huge part of living a healthy lifestyle.  I was so excited when I was asked to try NECTRESSE™Sweetener, an all natural, zero calorie sweetener, made from monk fruit extract.  It’s also available anywhere you shop!

Making smoothies is such an easy way to get a serving of fruit and dairy in your daily meal plan, but the sugar that often accompanies a smoothie kind of negates the “healthiness” of the drink, don’t you think?  By substituting NECTRESSE™Sweetener for any sugar you’d usually put into your smoothie, you can feel confident that your smoothie is still healthy.

My usual smoothie recipe looks something like this:

1/2 cup fresh fruit

1/2 cup skim milk

1/2 cup fat free vanilla yogurt

1/2 cup crushed ice

2 teaspoons sugar

Instead of using sugar this time around however, I decided to use NECTRESSE™Sweetener.  It gave me that all natural sweet taste without all the calories of sugar.  It was the perfect substitute for the sugar I once used, and I LOVED that I didn’t need to use that much.  I couldn’t even tell a difference!

To make a delicious fruit smoothie with NECTRESSE™Sweetener, all you have to do is add the ingredients to a blender and instead of using sugar, add two packets of NECTRESSE™Sweetener!

sweetener

After blending all the ingredients, pour the smoothie into a glass and garnish with some fruit!

You can try this recipe out for yourself with a FREE sample of NECTRESSE™Sweetener.

I also encourage you to check out this testimonial from Lisa Ling, the Nectresse Sweetener spokesperon…

I know you’ll love using NECTRESSE™Sweetener in place of sugar in all of your favorite recipes in the future!
