{all-american birthday party favors}

June 26, 2012 By meredith 15 Comments

I’m super excited that my little guy is turning one in exactly one week!  We’re starting the celebration early with a party this weekend, and I wanted to share the party favors with all of you today!

When I was a kid, I loved fireworks (who am I kidding, I still love fireworks).  I especially liked sparklers!  I thought they were so much fun, and the fact that I was allowed to actually hold them was a plus 🙂

I knew I wanted to share that little piece of being a kid again with Jackson’s party guests this year, so my dear, sweet, friend Ali helped me recreate these labels found originally at Twig & Thistle.

And I found boxes and boxes of sparklers at Wal Mart for $2 a piece!

All I had to do was print the lables on card stock, cut them out, and cut two slits along the small squares to insert the sparklers.

I just love how they turned out, and they were so simple to assemble!

I can’t wait to start celebrating with my little guy!

Don’t forget, there are only two days left to vote for your top three favorite projects in the Project Pinterest Challenge.  I’d love for you to support my Fingerprint Charm Necklace!

Please head over to either Two Yellow Birds Decor or The Taylor House to vote for your top 3 favorite entries (and hopefully one of them is mine and/or Adrianne’s)!  Just click on the vote button below the pictures of your three favs!  I truly appreciate all of your support!

Thank you!

I’ll be linking up at these great parties…
