{Colgate Champions for Kids}

I’ve become quite passionate about giving back to my community, especially to those in need.  Since joining a new church this year, my husband and I have made it a goal to always try to give back in any way that we can, big or small.  One small way that I like to contribute is by donating items to our church’s food pantry by bringing either canned goods or personal care items to church with us each Sunday.

During the entire month of March, the Champions for Kids SIMPLE Service Project is Colgate “Bright Smiles, Bright Futures.”  I was eager to participate by providing children that are served through my church’s food pantry a happy, healthy smile with some fun Colgate products.

What kiddo doesn’t love Dora the Explorer or SpongeBob Square Pants?

So, I set out for a trip to my local WalMart and purchased Colgate toothbrushes and toothpaste with the beloved cartoon characters on them {after all, it’s so much more fun to brush your teeth when you have an exciting toothbrush to use, isn’t it?}.  Maybe us adults should go back to fun cartoon character toothbrushes also…just a thought!

My little guy was eager to check out all the Colgate products we’d purchased that day.  He loves to brush his teeth too!

Here’s the entire donation that I was able to purchase…

Once I got home, I assembled a gift basket to donate to the food pantry this past Sunday.

If you can, this month {or any month at that}, I urge you to find a charity in your area and participate in the Champions for Kids SIMPLE Service Project by donating some fabulous, and oftentimes much needed, Colgate dental hygiene products.

No donation is ever too small and is always appreciated!
