{Valentine’s Day Photo Gift Idea}

{Valentine’s Day Photo Gift Idea}

This year, Jackson will be sending a few little somethings in the mail to his Grandparents for Valentine’s Day, because let’s face it, what grandparent doesn’t like getting cute things from their grandchildren?!

I created a little photo prop for him to hold using the following materials,

materials

wooden letters, I and U

wooden heart

chalkboard  & hearts scrapbook paper

Mod Podge

paper mache letter O

white acrylic paint

foam brush

I traced the letter O shape onto the backside of the scrapbook paper and glued it down using the Mod Podge.  I also Mod Podged a strip of the paper along the edge.  {Why the letter O?  Well, it was in my craft stash, sitting there, doing nothing, so I figured, why not?!}

cut pieces

I also painted the letters I and U with white acrylic paint.

Once everything was dry, I hot glued the wooden letters to the front side of the prop.

Then, I got my little cutie dressed for the day and we had a little photo shoot for Grandma & Grandpa.  Here is my favorite shot.

I had visions of going outside, but it was raining, for several days.

Grandma & Grandpa won’t care…who wouldn’t love that sweet face?!

We’re adding the picture to his Valentine Cards {that I’ll be sharing tomorrow}!

Happy Valentine’s Day!
